Summerlands Gathering - 2001
Yellow Springs, OH
8/24/2001 to 8/26/2001

This festival is held at a very nice camp near Yellow Springs, OH. There is a large covered pavilion that came in handy this year with the rainstorms we had. This festival is the regional gathering for the Ohio River region and the main ritual on Saturday was a unity rite for the region. It was very well put together and executed.

I presented two workshops at the festival, "Daily Worship Rites" and "How to Integrate ADF into your family life." Both were well attended, even though the Saturday workshop had to be moved under cover from the rains.

Our own Ian Corrigan and Liafal started Saturday night's entertainment. Their music was excellent and got the crowd nicely warmed up. The band, Fannigan's Isle, followed them. They are a great band that does Irish pub music. They had the crowd up and dancing most of the time and everyone enjoyed themselves greatly!

I sold $587 worth of regalia and traveled 1068 miles to attend the festival.

Clicking on any of the pictures below will bring up a large (640 X 480) version of the picture.
